Fried Squash Recipe

Ingredients

Whole Milk: 1 Cup

Large eggs, slightly beaten: 2 Pcs

Hot Sauce: 4 Dashes

Yellow Squash, sliced: 4 Cups

Avocado Oil: 1 ½ Cup

All-purpose flour: 2 Cups

Fine Cornmeal: 1 Cup

Kosher Salt: 2 ½ Teaspoon

Black Pepper: 1 Teaspoon

Directions

1. Take a bowl, mix eggs, milk and hot sauce. Stir it to make a smooth blend of the ingredients and keep it aside.

2. Take another bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, salt and pepper. Stir it to make a fine mixture and keep it aside for later use.

3. Now heat a skillet on a medium to high flame with Avocado oil. Once the oil is heated, dip the squash pieces into the milk batter and then coat it with the other flour mixture.

4. Shake off any excess of milk batter before coating it with the flour mixture. Once you have made sure of it, fry it in the skillet with the avocado oil.

5. Cook the squash until golden brown on either side.

6. Place the crispy and hot fried squash on a paper towel to get rid of any excess oil. Once the squash has cooled down a bit, serve it in a plate and enjoy your guilt-free snack.

Fried Squash Blossoms

Ingredients

Zucchini flower blossoms: 12 pcs

Large eggs, beaten: 2 pcs

All-purpose flours: ½ Cup

Italian bread crumbs: ½ Cup

Olive oil: 2 Tablespoons

Salt to taste Ground Pepper to taste

Directions

1. Take two bowls, one for the beaten eggs and the other to mix flour, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Stir it to make a fine mixture and keep it aside for later use.

2. Now heat a skillet on a medium to high flame with Olive oil. Once the oil is heated, dip the squash pieces into the beaten and then coat it with the other flour mixture.

3. Shake off any excess of the beaten egg before coating it with the flour mixture. Once you have made sure of it, fry it in the skillet with the Olive oil.

4. Cook the squash until golden brown on either side.

5. Place the crispy and hot fried squash on a paper towel to get rid of any excess oil. Once the squash has cooled down a bit, serve it in a plate and enjoy your guilt-free snack.

Fried Squash and Zucchini

Ingredients

Yellow Squash: 2 Cups

Zucchini: 2 Cups

Large eggs, beaten: 2 pcs

Wholesome Yum blanched almond flour: 2/3 Cup

Grated Parmesan Cheese: 2/3 Cup

Italian Seasoning: 1 Tablespoon

Paprika: ½ Teaspoon

Garlic Powder: ½ Teaspoon

Sea Salt: ¾ Teaspoon

Black Pepper: ¼ Teaspoon Avocado Oil: 2 Tablespoon

Directions

1. Take two bowls, one for the beaten eggs and the other to mix Almond flour, Paprika, Grated parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, Sea salt and Black pepper.

2. Now, take a skillet and heat Avocado oil in it on a medium to high flame.

3. Dip the Squash and zucchini pieces, dip them into beaten eggs and coat them with the flour mixture.

4. Fry these coated squash and zucchini pieces in the avocado oil, until they are golden brown and crisp from both sides.

5. Place these fried squash on a paper towel to get rid of excess oil, if any. Once the squash has cooled down a bit, serve it in a plate and enjoy your guilt-free snack.
