Microwaved Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Broccoli Florets’ big pieces
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Take a microwave-friendly container and add water and broccoli florets to it.
  2. Cover the container with a plastic wrap or a suitable lid.
  3. Microwave it for 3 Minutes.
  4. Check for the crisp.
  5. Microwave for 1-2 minutes more if required.

Boiled Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Broccoli Florets’ big pieces
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Fill a medium pot with enough water, but water should not touch the steamer basket.
  2. Add the steamer insert and place the Broccoli on the top
  3. Cover them completely and bring the water to a boil.
  4. Once the steam builds, cook the Broccoli for about 3 minutes.
  5. Check for the tender-crisp.
  6. Give the steam for 1-2 minutes more if required.

Steamed Broccoli

  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Take a pot and boil 4 cups of water in it.
  2. Add the broccoli florets and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Check carefully if the Broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp. If not, let it be in the water for one more minute.
  4. Transfer the florets to a vessel that has 4 cups of water and 4 cups in it. Let them sink in for 5 minutes.

Sauteed/ Stir-fried Broccoli

Ingredients 

  • 6 cups broccoli florets’ big pieces
  • Three tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Three tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Heat a large saute pan, then add in 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  2. Add broccoli florets with one tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper together in another bowl.
  3. Transfer the bowl having Broccoli with other ingredients in it to the heated pan.
  4. Allow cooking for 2 Minutes. 
  5. Broccoli will start turning brown, now, add water to it and cover with a lid. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Take off the cover and wait for the water to evaporate completely.
  7. Serve with preferred seasonings.

Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients 

  • 6 cups broccoli florets’ big pieces
  • Three tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 500ºF (260ºC).
  2. Place a sheet pan in the oven to preheat before adding the Broccoli.
  3. In a medium bowl, toss Broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper together.`
  4. Remove the hot pan from the oven and quickly transfer the bowl to the sheet pan.
  5. Roast for about 9-10 minutes until the florets are tender and browned.
  6. Serve with preferred seasonings.
